Restylane Hydrating Treatment
“ The innovative hydration product for healthy glowing skin.”
What is Restylane Hydrating treatment?
- Restylane Hydrating treatment is a NEW and innovative treatment for face, neck, decolletage and the back of hands.
- It is a non- animal stabilised Hyaluronic-acid, which internally hydrates the deeper layers of the skin.
- Restylane Hydrating treatment is not dermal filler.
- Restylane Hydrating treatment may be used in combination with other Restylane treatments and cosmetic medicine procedures to achieve optimal results.
How does it work?
- Restylane Hydrating treatment attracts moisture and restores hydration.
- It stimulates new collagen formation improving skin elasticity and decreases fine lines.
Who will benefit from the treatment?
- Everyone - especially for those with crepey and dehydrated, sun-damaged skin, to improve texture and skin tone.
What areas can be treated with Restylane Hydrating treatment?
- Face
- Neck
- Decolletage
- Hands
How many treatments will be required?
This is not a one-off treatment. Most patients require an intensive programme, with one treatment 4 weekly for 3 treatments, followed by maintenance treatments every 4-6 months. The number of treatments needed will however depend on your age and the condition and quality of your skin.
How will I look after my treatment?
The procedure involves numerous tiny injections into the skin causing slight swelling, redness and possible bruising. It may take a few days for these injection sites to settle so plan your activities to accommodate for this.
What does the patient need to do prior to treatment?
- It is preferable for the patient to avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatories and Asprin type medications prior to treatment to minimize the risk of bruising.
How do I take care of my skin after the treatment?
- Cool compresses.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and oil- based make up for 24 hrs. Suggest using mineral based cover-up make up such as Jane Iredale.
- Vitamin A and vitamin C skin care products should be applied.
How long does the treatment take?
- Approximately half to one hour
- Topical local anaesthetic cream can be applied to your skin to ensure the treatment is comfortable. This will need to be applied to the area 30 minutes prior to treatment.
