 Dr Michele Mc Vie (BSc.MB, BCH.Dip Forensic Medicine, FRNZCGP)
Dr Michele Mc Vie graduated from the University of the Witwatergrand, Johhanesburg in 1986. Like her colleagues at Clinic 42 Michele has completed extensive medical training, including two years of forensic pathology, two years of paediatrics and two years at a hospice.
Michele has been a general practitioner since 1991 and has been working in New Zealand since 1993. She now practices at the Millenum Institute.
Michele has a long standing interest in skin conditions, especially acne, following an elective in dermatology as a medical student. She was also a visiting lecturer in skin conditions at the Wits Technikon in Johannesburg.
Michele has practised Appearance Medicine since 1998, both here and in the United States. She is excited to use her extensive training and skills in Radio Frequency, Skin Tightening and Light Therapy rejuvenation (ELOS) at Clinic 42, which she was the first to bring to New Zealand.
Michele is particularly interested in Intense Pulsed Light and Laser therapy, Radiofrequency treatments and acne management.
