Cosmetic Mole Removal
We can remove unsightly, elevated skin lesions without the need for incision or sutures.
We use a device called a surgitron which utilises radiowaves to shave off the lesion and cauterise at the same time. A small amount of local anaesthetic is injected and then radiosurgery is performed.
This procedure is only performed on clinically benign (non cancerous) lesions. All shavings are sent to the laboratory for diagnosis and the patient is advised of the results. The procedure gives excellent cosmetic results for selected lesions.
